Kuala Lumpur /Penang

Driving would take between 7-9 hours, depending on the departing spot and you would need to leave your car at the Kuala Besut jetty.

If you’re driving from Kuala Lumpur or Kuantan, take the East Coast Expressway (Leburaya Pantai Timur – LPT) and head towards Jerteh in Terengganu. From Jerteh, it’s just a quick 15-minute drive to Kuala Besut Jetty. The total driving time from Kuala Lumpur is approximately 6 hours.

If you’re driving from Kota Bharu, head south towards Bachok before reaching Kuala Besut Jetty. The journey takes about an hour.

 For those coming from Penang, utilize the East West Expressway (Lebuhraya Timur Barat) and make your way towards Pasir Putih before reaching Jerteh. From Jerteh, it’s a mere 15-minute drive to Kuala Besut Jetty. The overall travel duration from Penang is about 7 hours.

Kota Bharu Airport (KBR) Or Kuala Terengganu Airport (TGG)

Alternatively, opt for Kuala Terengganu Airport (TGG), situated around 110 kilometers south of Kuala Besut Jetty. TGG offers direct flights to and from Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Subang (SZB), and Johor Bharu (JHB), providing flexible travel options.
